You agree to use Outwise only as described in these Terms and the AI Disclaimer. The following activities are prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
1. Guide-service resale
You may not present Outwise Outputs as your own paid outdoor-guide service unless you are personally licensed to provide such services in the relevant jurisdiction. Even then, you may not represent Outwise as underwriting your services, your route choices, or your decisions in the field.
2. Unaccompanied minors & high-risk activity
You may not generate briefings recommending unaccompanied minors (under 18) undertake high-risk activities, including but not limited to: technical climbing, ski mountaineering, ice climbing, glacier travel, scuba diving, canyoneering, expedition kayaking, and motorsport. Briefings for activities involving minors must assume competent adult supervision.
3. Protected, restricted, or prohibited areas
You may not generate briefings that direct users to enter or operate within legally protected areas where activity is prohibited or restricted, including national parks during closures, military zones, restricted hunting periods, conservation reserves with permit requirements, or indigenous lands without permission. You are responsible for verifying the legality of your trip with local authorities.
4. Weapons, ammunition & controlled gear
You may not request or use Outputs that involve firearms, ammunition, explosives, controlled chemicals, drones in airspace where they are prohibited, or any “emergency kit” that includes regulated weaponry. Hunting briefings are limited to legal jurisdictions, lawful seasons, and lawful equipment, and Outwise provides no instructional or tactical content for weapon use.
5. Harm to people, animals, or environment
- No requests aimed at hurting, harassing, threatening, stalking, or endangering any person.
- No content for poaching, illegal wildlife capture, or environmentally destructive practice.
- No content circumventing legal age limits, alcohol limits, or drug laws.
6. No use as legal evidence
Outwise Outputs may not be submitted as evidence in court, insurance claim, or arbitration proceedings concerning outdoor incidents, casualties, or equipment failures.
7. Service abuse
- No automated scraping, reverse engineering, or model extraction.
- No attempting to bypass rate limits, paywalls, or authentication.
- No re-distributing Outputs in a way that obscures their AI origin.
- No security testing without written permission from us.
8. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts and refuse refunds in cases of clear AUP violation. Severe or unlawful violations may be reported to law enforcement.
