This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies Outwise uses, and how you control them. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner shown at the bottom of every page.
1. Essential cookies (no consent required)
outwise.session— keeps you signed in. First-party, session duration.outwise.consent.v1— records your cookie banner preference. First-party, twelve months.outwise.csrf— prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions. First-party, session.
2. Optional analytics (consent required)
Only set after you accept “Accept all” in the banner. We currently plan to use a privacy-conscious analytics provider; specific provider names and cookie identifiers will be enumerated here once configured. We do not enable advertising cookies.
3. How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner to accept all or essential only.
- Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or per-site.
- Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and core features; you can still browse the marketing site.
4. Other storage
We use localStorage for two non-tracking purposes: storing your T-minus departure date so the countdown survives reloads, and remembering your weather-effect preference on the hero. These never leave your browser.
5. Changes
We will update this policy when we add or remove cookies. Material changes surface a refreshed cookie banner.
